2006-04-20 - 1:25 a.m. OMG! An acquaintance of mine created a monster when he told me that he had a profile on tribe with a picture of his beloved feline, Kitty. As curious as a kitty (forgive the pun) was I and went to the site to check it out. Of course you have to register to look. So I did. I checked out his profile, checked out his pics, (cute Kittyzilla)then wandered off to my own separate acre of the internet to do some stuff with my own profile. I was completely prepared to hate it until I discovered that they have groups...GROUPS I SAY!! Well that just puts us on a whole new level. There are groups for people with OCD like me, that love A Perfect Circle like me, even for people who are crush-whores like me. I even discover a small enclave of hedonists with my same mind-set. I am still a little disconcerted, however, that someone who knew me for such a brief time was able to pinpoint my inherent nature so accurately when other people miss it completely and think that the outside is the same as the inside. Some people see too much. Some see nothing. There's still a lot of unfinished business for me to sort out. No, I'm not TRYING to be cryptic, but my words as of late are just the rantings of someone who's a little bit clueless right now. Thinking out loud over a keyboard, if you will. On a lighter note: Off to the city I went today to eX-Girl show at Bottom of the Hill. I love seeing women doing their thing! The first band was Inspect Her Gadget. The singer had AWESOME energy. The music was only decent, though, which was surprising since they're veterans of the Warped Tour circuit. Second band was Headlight which was also good. Exact opposite of the first band. Great music, no energy. eX-Girl was great but by that time, my dancing shoes were all worn out.
